We loved to listen to the new album. We felt the blues but also the hope and beams of better days in their new tunes.We like the collaboration between Enric and Jonathan and very much look forward to be dancing to their music and listening to it live.( Bianca Locatelli & Nils Andrén / International dance instructors) For someone who is already a fan of both Enric's and Jonathan's music, this is a gem The album is just pure quality. All top notch musicians. It's amazing what Jonathan’s guitar playing adds to the rhythm section, and I love his guitar solos. Enric’s rich and heartwarming tenor sax just moves me. I can listen to this at home as much as it is great for all kinds of swing dancing. It´s the perfect album to have your best dance partner close:It swings, it's groovy, it´s sensual, melancholic and intimate as well. As a jazz lover, I find a million layers to explore on every tune: as soon as you discover one, three more are to be found under that one.To find all that there's in each song will take a hundred listenings
All over the recording its a joy to listen Jonathan´s clear and deep right hand, while Richard surprises you with a mellow and tasty lick. then Enric comes in playing like the one who knows the end of the movie but enjoys mischievously teasing you all the way, but....no spoilers.
